What exactly does Catalog Clarity do?
The planned service compares an existing product catalog CSV with an updated CSV and explains supported differences and potential import risks. This website currently offers synthetic demonstrations only.
Is it designed for Shopify?
The initial focus is Shopify product CSV files. Other platform integrations are not currently offered.
Will Catalog Clarity change products in my store?
No. Catalog Clarity provides a review report. You decide what to edit and import into your store.
Do I need to connect my Shopify account?
No store connection is planned for the two-file CSV comparison workflow. No Shopify account access is requested here.
Which files will I need?
For the planned service, a current Shopify product CSV export and the revised product CSV you intend to import. Do not submit real files to this demo.
Can it detect every possible catalog problem?
No. Findings depend on supported checks, file contents, and matching rules. A report cannot guarantee a successful import or detect every issue.
What happens if I find a critical warning?
Review the original and updated values, confirm intent, and correct unintended changes before importing. A warning is a prompt for review, not proof of an error.
Can I download my report?
You can download the synthetic sample findings here. Downloadable real audit reports are planned when the live service is connected.
How is uploaded catalog data handled?
This demonstration does not accept or process merchant catalog files. Data handling terms for the live service must be published before real uploads are enabled.
How much does an audit cost?
Proposed pre-launch pricing is $29 USD for a standard audit and $19 USD for each separately purchased returning customer audit. Payments are not enabled.
Is there a subscription?
No subscription or automatic renewal is planned. Each audit would be purchased individually.
When will the service be available?
